Having Esc on the same row as my numbers is also literally a lifechanger. I don’t code but I see zero reason for tilde to take that spot.
I use tilde a lot, but I like it on the upper right corner instead of upper left. I use Escape a lot too. And with Backspace moved down one row, there’s a nice empty space to fill.
Maybe try typing out your negative opinion and get out all of your frustrations like you've been doing, except instead of hitting the send button, simply delete it. Then you will feel better and at the same time nobody else will have to share in your misery. Cheers
I do that sometimes. Sometimes I even take a screenshot before cancelling the post. It's a good way to let off steam without making messes.
I just cut copy and send them in a pm to Boaz. Wonder how many people know that they can send PM’s to themselves?
I don’t read them ... now I’m wondering if I can block pm’s from that lunatic ?
It’s called a WhiteFox. It’s one of very few models I’ve found with the HHK+arrows layout (HHK = Happy Hacking Keyboard). I have the keys on mine rearranged a bit compared to the picture, but it’s still reasonably close.
If I get another any time soon, it’ll be similar but with a split space bar, RGB lighting per key, hot-swappable switches, and cleaner firmware. I made a physics simulation of a swimming pool which responds to keypresses and splashes colors around as if each key stroke is someone dropping a bowling ball into the pool. It’s totally unnecessary, but it also makes typing really satisfying. Did I mention I like shiny things?
Now all you need is a really nice keycap set to go along with your really nice keyboard.

How can you use a keyboard without Home/End buttons?
Just remember, things are not always as they may seem and people are seldom as they appear. We are a world wide consortium of people with a kindred interest, with diverse backgrounds and specialties as wide as the sky. Many languages are spoken, many cultures represented, and still… the awe of a flashlight in the dark of night is the inspiration. We don’t all have to understand some of the concepts, only the true one. Let there be light….
Am I (almost) the only one that doesnt understand what anyone is talking about?
I think some people are talking about a keyboard & ships & other stuff , they should be talking about a torch ( I think) please stay on topic because my head hurts.

Oh, actually this is a PC keyboard forum and some people obviously posted some off-topic items like flashlights, etc. Haha..
In reality, this off-topic banter has happened before to BLF projects that encountered delays and people just make things manageable the long waiting’s effect through crazy off topic posts, all in the spirit of fun.

Have to admit, nice keyboard, but when looking it up they mention, its 89,99 and it does not come with keys, you have to buy them separately ?
How can you use a keyboard without Home/End buttons?
I don’t really consider Home and End to be essential. However, it comes with a lot more keycaps than it can actually fit at one time, so the user can include whatever keys they want. And the firmware is open and easily configured, so the user can arrange the keys in any way. It also has extensive layering functionality, so it can give each key a bunch of different functions. It’s designed to be whatever the individual user wants.
About Home and End in particular though, I have three different ways to access those functions:
Vim-like programs: 0 and $
Emacs-like programs: Ctrl-A and Ctrl-E
Other: Fn-Left and Fn-Right
If there’s a thing missing that I wonder how people live without though, it’s… How can you use a keyboard without mouse functions? I find it really useful being able to click and scroll and stuff from the keyboard, without having to move my hand to a mouse.

Try Googling “Stasis field”
I don’t have a problem with definitions.
Maybe it’s a reference from a game or movie that I don’t get? I don’t know, but it doesn’t seem related in any way to this thread.

Post 1, second prototype pictures.
I believe the 3rd prototype looks exactly the same on the exterior, but no, we have not seen any pictures of it.

It’s like D&D and those choose your own adventure games without graphics from the 80s I think.
