NarsilM is com’n along pretty good now. 2 and 3 output channels can be configured with compile time settings. Been testing it on a triple channel board.
Think’n it would be perfect for this light – same UI, same manual as for the BLF Q8, and should also work for the BLF GT.
NarsilM is for Narsil Multi-channel.
NICETOM!

I want one, what’s a good battery brand for this light?
I think I didn’t make it onto the list. To be clear, I’m interested regardless of the emitters it comes with. I will buy one and possibly up to four depending on how much spare money I have and what interesting stuff I get in the next Nichia group buy.

The Efest dark purple 3000mAh cell is also on par with the Sony VTC6 and LG HE-2. There is also a dark purple 3500mAh cell in the Efest line that would work well for only slightly less output with more run time.
Fritz, am I right to assume that the anodize layer inside the battery tube will insulate the thin inner tube carrying negative current? Seems simple enough. I suppose the thin tube could also be anodized then have the ends cleared for contact, this might or should double the effective insulation against a short on negative. Just thinking out loud.
Also noticed the rib on the pcb end that will keep the slim tube from falling out when making cell changes, neat touch.
Folks, let's make it a little easier for the organizer (The Miller in this case), whenever you're putting yourself on any interest list, please be concise and unambiguous. Over the past year I've been on BLF, I keep seeing people use words like "at least", "maybe", etc.
How is the organizer supposed to know what you really mean? If you are undecided, come back and post after you make up your mind.
Indeed when it is not clear I either add a question mark or in case of “I want one with Nichia LEDs” or something I don’t add for it is specified as having something else then Nichias
Dale indeed the small inner tube needs anodization and you are right, it is not discussed but the outer tube will get ano inside and out making a nice double layer of insulation.

OK, good point. I stand corrected. My bad.
Based on the data given in the OP: I take 1 piece of NW.
BUT IF I CANCHOOSE between NW & CW: I take 1 piece of CW.

You are a flashaholic if you are forced to come out of the closet, to make room for more flashlights.
In for one. Thank you.
I’m interested! Please put me down for one.
I’d like to be on the list for one. Thanks!

Hell yeah!! Interested!
Put me down for one as well please.
Interested in one.
The project looks awesome, I really dig the clear anodizing.
I would prefer higher CRI leds, but that can be modded at home, and it would increase cost, I suppose.
Don’t try to please everyone. Make the light you guys want to make, and if someone does not like the result, well, no one is forcing anyone to buy it.
I would like 1
Count me in for one!
Make that 2!
I am interested in one.
1 for me please
Interested in one piece.
NICE TOM!

W, I bet you Djozz or another Durchee will gladly reflow a couple of left over CW emitters in place of the NW ones
