Up for sale today is a Trustfire TR-DF003 diving light with three XHP-50 emitters de-domed (close shave). It's got three modes, very low, medium high and Turbo. Great light for diving or just using as a regular light. Great tint and nice beam pattern. Takes 2x26650 or 2x18650. This light is not "light" lol it's very heavy but that's good for heatsinking.
This one's got a couple light scratches but all in all it's in great shape.
It’s a direct drive with low resistance FET and heavy gauge wires so It’s really going to depend on the batteries you use. Use the super high amp batteries and it’s pretty much maxing out what those emitters can handle. I would rather not post numbers because I really don’t have a good enough set-up to say for sure and if anyone wanted to be obnoxious with paypal they could. Sadly I speak from experience on this last part. But you can figure it out fairly easily, take a trio of maxed out XHP-50’s and subtract about 15% or so for loss from de-doming and the lens and it will be pretty close. Still I think the de-dome is worth any loss because it doubles the throw and this light is already floody enough and the extra throw is worth more to me. But maybe others would prefer the extra flood.
Honestly whoever did a PayPal dispute with you is a turd. I mean seriously its a rough estimate all lux, lumen, amp reading are. Its not a absolute. Straight turd, sounds like someone wanted a free light. But anyways keep up the builds. I don’t have any xhp 50 lights. And this light will be sold before my birthday next month. So whoever gets this is lucky. Would be a good addition for me to use at the park with my daughters. Its not lit essentially I make a about a 30 yard circle of lights and light it up. With a bag of extra cells.
I have another one of these coming back because it was “dented” lol The guy only wanted a partial refund of half the price. So he didn’t want it free, just close to it. If you ever had this light in your hand you would know why it’s so funny. You could run it over with a car and not dent it. It’s about three times a thick as most lights. I won’t name names but some people are really something else. I’ve been selling various things on line for years and I could tell you some absolutely crazy stories. It goes with the territory I guess, but there are times when I really can’t stand paypal. They don’t require any real proof, just a good story and apparently there are a lot of people who know it.
