Thanks for the update Neven.

Will you be selling SBT90.2?

Depends on interest, but it's an expensive LED, additional problem is custom DTP PCBs have to be made and those have large min. order quantity, so I'm not sure it's feasible.

If you would just sell the bare led, people could buy the 20mm DTP SST-90 board from kaidomain. But I know that your policy is to always offer the option of the led reflowed on a board.

IIRC it’s law rather than policy, something about not being allowed to be a reseller.

Edit: Yes, explained in post #1233

I’m amazed i remembered.
Going back to your point though it doesn’t have to be an MCPCB that’s sold with the LED, it could be sold with just a gasket, or something else for minimal cost. Wire, even.

And L4P could offer them soldered to Kaidomain MCPCB.
Much higher unit price but small MOQ.

Yeah, instead of getting a custom PCB made just buy some of these

http://kaidomain.com/20mm-x-1_5mm-DTP-Copper-MCPCB-for-Luminus-SST-90-2pcs

I would definitely be interested in buying some SBT90.2 if it was reflowed Smile

I hate reflowing myself.

Maybe Hank had these for a while and sold them exclusively to Vinh? He always seems to have noctigon stuff even before Hank puts them into a light.

Yes the large Luminus SBT-XX LEDs all fit on Cree MT-G2 PCBs.

Neven, the Restricted shipping due to COVID-19 bar in your site is annoying. It has a clickable dismiss button, but that only lasts until the very next moment once you go elsewhere in your site, as it appears again. So you either set some dismiss cookie for a good while, or it is useless. And when you browse with a smartphone in landscape, any horizontal sticky bars are like rubbing salt in the wound.

Deleting a post and redoing it causes the forum thread answer notifications to become invalid. Thus, if you need to change your just published post, edit it. Thanks.

Please avoid quoting lenghty posts, namely with nested quotes. Trim the quote down to the essential. Helps with forum neatness and legibility. Thanks.

Localized AliExpress links mess up with the language setting of whoever clicks or taps on them. While this is a fault of the AliExpress system, turning localized links into global links helps and is easy; just change the locale letters in the url for www. Example:

https://es.aliexpress.com/item/bla-bla-bla.html turns into https://www.aliexpress.com/item/bla-bla-bla.html. Thumbs Up

Ok, now it shouldn't be visible for 1 hour after you dismiss note.

Hello! Any problems with the site, Neven? It's been down for a few hours as far as I can tell. I recently placed a small order, and was wondering.

Store is closed for now (probably by 1st July), similar thing happened like last year - income limit. I have one big customer and plan was to open LLC in February mainly because of that customer, but due to virus pandemic it was not possible (till now) to open LLC, so I had no choice but to process all orders over workshop/self-employed. This basically means store will be closed until I open LLC, good % of products (which was on clearance sale) will not be available anymore. The main reason for that I can't sell stuff/products which are not bought over LLC account, I must check if it's possible to "transfer" some of that stuff to LLC before registration.

Products which won't be available are mosx boards, ILC-0 switches, all old Cu DTP boards,IR LEDs. I may save some of those and put them on final clearance next year (when workshop will be opened again for smaller customers, LLC will be reserved for larger customers).

First products which will be available after LLC opening is new generation of DTP PCBs (3030,3535,4040), Osram LEDs (WF1,WF2, I'll try to source boost versions too), existing Luxeon LEDs (V,V2, MZ not), LD-x4 drivers will be available too. That's for now, I will post updates here in thread.

So, my orders were cancelled due to inability to ship. When the shipping situation improves maybe I’ll be able to order them again next year? Facepalm

Hi!
I asked Neven the same question and the answer was – “don’t worry, all placed order will be processed.”
So don’t worry Smile

Hi Neven. I placed an order on May 10th (L4P2587). The payment went through (just checked on my PayPal transaction), but I never received a confirmation email or tracking number. Can you tell me if this shipped? Or shall I assume it did not? I’d hate to patiently wait on something that’s never going to show. Thanks!
