I got one, excellent headlamp, except very poor headband, but Nitecore headband works great with it.

I have Nichia version too, in both E02h and E03h. Excellent tint, basically all is same as E02h, except E03h has one additional level and different battery (higher levels/runtime) – it has same reflector, same tint, high CRI, and beam profile and same 21 moonlight levels as E02h, only comes in black color. Also the red/white/green filters are nicely fitted and movable without taking out – I found especially the red to be very useful. I bought one last year, for US$26.99 with free shipping from Hong Kong. Thumbs Up

The eBay store says $29.95 dollars, same with the Manker website.

Are there any codes or somewhere else to buy? $29.95 with free shipping works out to a liiiittle bit over the VAT free limit here.

MANKER E03H LED MAGNETIC CAP HEADLIGHT+WHITE RED GREEN DIFFUSER

There was/is? 8% discount code HKE80. Beer

And I asked them to declare it as USD 10 on parcel ( I am in Europe 22 Euro VAT as well). They are very helpful. They will do it for you too, just ask them. You can use Paypal. It came in one week by airmail. Thumbs Up

Thanks! Did you ask for the lower valuation via email or ?

Will be checking out with PayPal.

As an aside, oddly, the red ”PROCCED TO CHECKOUT” button is not working. Is it the same for you?

I'm interested in the answer to this question too. Smile

My wild guess: less than ”too hot to touch”?

”Comfortably warm to hold in cold weather” maybe?

Yes, by email. And also as a note during order.
And the order button works for me – I’m using Chrome on windows 10

Actually every Chinese company had set the value on parcel as low as I asked them (including ordering directly from http://www.mankerlight.com/).

I only use it on head in headband and even in high mode I never had felt it as hot or uncomfortable at all.

You never know.
That “348 Nichia NVSW219BT – V1 240Lm Mini 10440 / AAA LED Torch” from gearbest, what I get, got so hot with 5-7 min (with AAA), so cant hold by hand. Useless thing. I can only think, that I get sometihing other what here in forum so praised.
I cant think reason, whay I want put somthing hot, near to my head.

Isn’t the E03H a bigger casing than the AAA light you’re referring to? So that should be overall cooler off the bat.

And also I heard that the Nichia 219C, the one in the E03H, is more efficient at higher currents than the Nichia 219B, the one in that flashlight that you are talking about. More efficient = less heat, right?

I believe too, that physic laws stand (regardless what I read lately all the time)

Just not read here (and anywhere), that “Hi, I own this and can hold it ~20min in high mode” and then you start asking why.

Too bad Manker UI puts the turbo mode along with the annoying blinky modes. I wish the Turbo mode was in the same grouping as the regular modes. Until Manker fixes the driver with the turbo in blinky grouping, I will not buy another Manker.

It suits me fine as I don't often use turbo. Big Smile

It's not possible to please everyone at once, I guess. Wink

Though thinking about it, a turbo shortcut would be nice.

the light you’re talking about is a stainless steel BLF light and if someone wants a light to be run on high only then expect to be looking for something with a serious heat sink and some weight to it . not a AAA nichia BLF 348 stainless light …try it on a 10440 if you want to see real heat . there are 100 people a day looking to buy one so sell it ..

well a double click switches turbo on or off. Seems not too hard to master.
I don’t have this lamp, but if the ui Diagramm is right a double click leads you to turbo from ON or OFF. I would say that is a shortcut.

Yes.You can easily access/leave turbo by double click from any level or from OFF without ever accessing any blinky mode. I hate all disco modes and they are well hidden here.

The red filter looks red until you turn the light on , it’s more like pink.

Funny thing is that when I use that red filter for a while and take it off, that nice Nichia tint suddenly feels grass green for a while. Steve

I have not tried green yet – I do not know when/why actually green filter supposed to be used. Red is pleasant at night when you wake up. Green is not.

Could someone measure the beam angle on a protractor, and ideally take a pic?

Something like this:

Thanks. Smile

I was hoping for 7 days, but you can’t have everything, I guess, even with airmail. Wink

Who’s used Hong Kong airmail before? I think that this my first time.

I use a headband with the Fenix hl50 it performs very well. In the flashlight you can not activate the full turbo mode quite quickly, it is connected with the voltage drop on the eneloop and we get something between the full turbo and the high about 160Lumen.
Besides, it’s a great flashlight
