If you have an Emisar D4 - used, v1, dinged, whatever that is not getting used - what would you want for it?

I’ve been wanting to get one of these really bad, but budget… so while the wife is away this week, i want to sneak one in.
I don’t mind if it is V1, or scratched body trying to get the driver out or tint is bad so you got another or whatever. As long as the business end is good.

You really think the hottest little light of the moment can be had other then from the official vendors? I hope you get it, but it seems a bit high hoped IMHO

Yeah… i’ll eventually cave in and probably get a new one from mountain. but wanted to see if i could get a used, unloved one first.

Ha - I actually had the S41 and liked it. But just sold it here in the forum in anticipation of buying the D4
Not sure why anyone would unloved this great light. Unless the light had some issues that could be fixed it is an amazing light. I’ve got the XP-G 6500 - 7000K and love it. It gets a little hot but steps down to protect itself. For the $57 bucks I paid its money well spent. Enjoy it once it’s in your hands.
yeah… i guess no one would want to part… i was just putting it out there since i saw a lot of people getting multiples, and some who got v1 then springing for v2. i thought on the off chance if someone didn’t want their v1 or a not desirable tint. that’s all.
Link is nichia, not xp-g3. Every time I see the price drop again I get more angry. I bought it using a code and four days later the normal price dropped below what I paid and has been dropping ever since. At the current price 2x plus 2x 18650 tubes wouldn’t be much more than I paid for one of each. I like the performance and bake result but even looking at it I feel disappointed due to what I paid.
yeah - i bought the s41 for $35 during the pre-sale promotion… some kind of promotion that was.

The prices of Astrolux lights fluctuate enormously.
I paid $25 for a S41 219B when i thought it would never get any lower.
I paid $35 for a S41S XP-G3 when i though it would never get any lower.
I have seen both for $5 less since then.
O well…
