Alternatives to NCR18650GA?

I’m looking to buy ~10 high capacity 18650s with good discharge ability. I found the NCR1850GA on IMR Batteries for $5.75 w/ the bulk discount & free shipping on >$50. Are there any better deals on the 18650GA or its alternatives? Everywhere I see the 18650GA or the Samsung ICR18650-35E, they are over $6.

edit: I was wrong about the free shipping. Too many tabs open at once, and got IMR’s and Illumn’s shipping policies mixed up. Back to searching…

If you are not buying protected cells, the Samsung 30Q has similar pricing but superior current handling.

Ok, I wasn’t sure if the loss in capacity was worth it if I didn’t need the 10+ amp draw. But it seems to be hard to find 18650GAs for less than $6. And it looks like BangGood has a deal on 30Qs for ~$18 for 4, so… guess that’s probably the best bet. And they will be future proof if I get any “hotrod” lights in the future, I guess.

Get lights that have a built-in protection and unprotected batteries.
Here is a deal on GA that may be better for you (depending on shipping).
As to alternatives, I often recommend much 35E. Slightly weaker, slightly higher capacity, lower price. For Emisar D4 I’d prefer GA, but for most lights it’s great.
MJ1 is as good as the two above, if you find a good deal, go for it.
