Hi! does anybody has XP-L2 led and Carlco 10622 quad optics to try if the led fits under the optics? This is used in the Emisar D4. And I have a plan to build an Eagle Eye X6R with quad XP-L2s which is with a good fet driver with Narsil or Andúril firmware I will hope puts out 6-8000 lumens 
But I don’t have the optics so I want to know if it fits before I order 4x XP-L2s.

According to RMM, they fit 10507, so probably 10622 as well. Also, I think djozz built a D4 with XP-L2. He went after CRI, so no dedome. It is somewhere in WDYMT.
yes I did, it fits alright. I just did not like the tint of the 90CRI XP-L2 so I may swap them out again. The fit and the beam were fine.

Yes there is actually: the current batch of 4000K 80CRI from Mouser has a great tint (slightly yellow and rosy), but don’t fall for the 4000K 90CRI one, I’m sure that the CRI is better but the tint is green.
