Need new leads for Fluke 16

Wasn’t sure which sub forum to put this in…

I guess after years and years of wrapping the leads around the meter caused a wire to snap near the angle banana connectors, as I was having trouble getting any readings through one or both of them, tried to repair, but the plastic is very thick, so I put a pair of alligator jumpers in the meter and it works fine, but want to replace them. The oem Fluke leads are way too expensive so if anyone can point me to a good replacement pair that wont break the bank(online or from a B&M store) I would be very thankful

A friend of mine called me years ago and asked if I was interested in yellow fluke meter bags that held two meters for 5$. i told him sure buy me a couple ,,When they arrived they had a bag of probes in them that were like $95 in the catalog . Every double ,clamp clip pins etc etc etc I asked how many the guy had and my friend said "a bunch" .. So I think I sold mine cheap thinking there were more to come...I mentioned it to my friend later and he just shrugged it of and I don't think he bought any ...or maybe he sold his too .

I bought a used fluke 77 at a flea market last year just for parts. Fluke probes are worth having and a spare set is worth hanging unto .
Same friend gave me a couple harbor frieght meters he was picking up for free...I took one out of the package put a 9volt in it and checked voltage on a few 18650's ..... took the battery back out stuffed it back in the package and handed it back to him .

I laugh every time someone here mentions they are using a horrible fright meter .
The 9 volt battery is worth more than the meter .

How much do they want for the Fluke probes ?

I love the kit I bought from Probe Master a couple years ago.

Their stuff is made in the USA and they offer free shipping.

The silicone leads are supple and flexible, and the probe tips are gold-plated.

The small accessory clips and hooks are great when you need both hands free while making measurements.

I’d buy from them again in a heartbeat if I lost my kit.

I'm not familiar with the model personally. I checked the Fluke online database and according to the website TL71 Premium wi work on it.

Here is the Fluke URL https://www.flukeonlinestore.com/products/test-leads/tl71-test-lead-set-premium-dmm

And if you click the purchase button it will give you a list of authorised dealers that sell them. One in here https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00011Q5QG/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1510852972&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=B00011Q5QG&dpPl=1&dpID=410wVe7asXL&ref=plSrch

I bought a couple these sets from Amazon and they are legit, and very reasonable.

thanks for the help guys, I was in home depot yesterday and saw a nice pair of Klein leads that included screw on alligator tips for $15.50 so I bought those and they work as good as the flukes for much cheaper. I have a lot of Klein tools and they are quite good quality wise. I do appreciate the responses, ty

Funny, when I follow the link to Amazon, I have an app called Honey that searches amazon for the lowest price, it comes up with a dealer that sells them for $17.84, very cool. when I click on the link to the page it pops me back to the original Fluke page for more money. very strange, i would order a set but already have mine.
