Advice for dead Klarus

G`day all, a few weeks ago my Klarus XT12GT bit the dust, i brought this light mid July and recieved early August of 2017.

Since then it has seen 1-2 hours light duty, even less if im honest, as i was looking for a reliable light for my bedside table, and the Klarus User Interface suited me perfectly.
One night i had to intervene in a fight outside the front of my house using the light for only a few minutes working flawlessly with the momentary switch and quick access strobe UI that i like so much, only to die a few days later, leaving me to wonder if it could have died whilst i was seeing to the altercation leaving me out in the dark without a working flashlight.

either way im back to using my Convoy L6 now and feel a lot better about reliability of my primary light, not to hate on Klarus as i love my XT1C.

Enter my ongoing email saga with Banggood, starting on the 15th, 7 emails and a new youtube account with video, still no resolution and a very clear indication that i will get a perpetual runaround.
As Klarus have a 5 yr warranty, my question to you is, should i try a PayPal dispute? what do you think my chances will be? or maby contact Klarus directly, or persist with banggood?

as a bonus questions, what is you go to trusted security light? what about its design provides that confidence in it?.
