What is The Best way to store Batteries?

Hi everyone,

I'm somewhat new to high capacity batteries, and I'm concerned to keep their life cycle the best possible.

So I decided to ask you guys these important questions (maybe they can help others too)

TECH QUESTIONS:

  • What is the best way to keep 18650 and 26650 Batteries' cycle life when STORING THEM / NOT USING for let's say a couple of months or even more?
  • Store them Fully Charged? Charging them completely once a month? Or how?
  • If you Never used them yet (just got them after purchase), does it also apply?
  • The above applies to AA Ni-MH Batteries too? If not, what would be the best way?

store li-ion battery about 3.6V ,half of the capacity,room temperature storage of about 25 degrees

If it's a good quality battery, , such as samsung,sony ,the storage time will be long, the voltage will drop very slowly.

If the battery is of high quality is bad.the voltage will slow down and it needs to be recharged.

Otherwise, it will be discharge lower than 2.5V, which will seriously affect life and performance.
