8 cells in a commercial 2 way.
runtime seemed a bit short and on a cold morning the radio rebooted when transmitting.
several cells had ir of 1.3 ohms!
called duracell and let them know what happened.
they asked a few questions and sent vouchers to get replacements.
fine with me.
bad lots happen with anything.
but the retailers that carry duracell stuff had fits trying to apply the vouchers!
this is mostly the fault of their system not being set up right to deal with them.
found that krogers carried them.
ok if they have them should be easy.after all they deal with mfr coupons and vouchers every day.
well they can do it but only one voucher a day?
8 cells 2 packs 2 vouchers.
so 2 trips.
a royal PITA indeed!
update.
i had another warehouse club pack from the same lot as the failed cells.
they read ir of 40mohm at 1khz.
the new ones i just got read 30mohm.
the 2 year old ones measure 1.27 out of the pack.
the new ones 1.33.
