Hey guys, I just thought of measuring the voltage on my i4 and it turns out that it’s around 4.8 volts. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

Yes, I would be very concerned. 4.8 volts is way too high. How long have you had your i4? My i2 finished right at 4.2 volts the last time I measured it.
there’s a huge thread on here about some liito kala;s 100B doing like 4.3 Which is still in spec . 4.8v will make people wonder if you meter works . that much voltage is crazy .
I’d mark the battery and slowly bleed off some voltage and watch that cell too.
I have a feeling it was measured on the i4 charging contacts, not on a charged cell.
It’s okay for the charger to have a high voltage while it’s open circuit.

Yes, I did measure at the open contacts. Nothing to worry about then?
