Zanflare F6 short review

Dear All,

You can find a full, more detailed review on my flashlight blog (with google translator)

The Zanflare F6 is made of brass. This is a tiny keychain flashlight that uses a 10180 lithium battery.

Its packaging is the usual exclusive zanflare box.
The box contains a brass chain, USB - micro USB charging cable, and two additional sealing rings.

The kit contains everything you need, even batteries. If you’ve charged it then you can work.

Switching on and switching modes is done by turning the head up and down -> twisty switch.
F6 are three lighting modes: low, medium and high. No mode memory, always start low.

Charging the tiny battery after the head is unscrewed on the body side. The charging current I measured at 5.04V voltage and 0.08A current. Such a tiny battery can not be charged quickly. I have measured a capacity of about 75 mAh. That’s not too much. During charging, the upper part of the body lights up red, and when done, it switches to blue light.

In high gear, there is some warming. Unfortunately, the battery is quickly discharged, so it can not overheat.
Measured Current:

- 0,00A

- 0,02A

  • 0,24A

There are two main parts, the head and the body.

In the head is the driver, the AR coated glass lens, underneath the OP reflector and the Cree XP-G2 LED.

The body is a bit more interesting because it can be split into two, and we can find the tiny 10180 battery. There was a whistle outside. It does not work. It was silly to do it. If it were not a whistle cut out, it would look like a bullet. That would be much nicer.

There is a double sealing ring in front of the filling opening. I like this! The thread gently rolls.
My measured length is 54.1mm, largest diameter is 14.6mm, its weight is 34.0g with battery.

First photo of Zanflare F6 is low mode. Light is barely visible. Next image in mid mode. Then comes the light of the Nitecore Tube. Then the Zanflare F6 is in high mode. The last picture shows Lumintop Tool AAA light.

I think this is a useless light. Due to low battery capacity, it quickly drains. It’s okay to look for your keyhole, but you do not have to wait a lot of miracles. More usable light is Lumintop Tool AAA or Nitecore Tube can think.

I think any 10180 battery light is basically a useless toy - no run-time with really usable light. Thanks for the nice review.

I got f6s and tested the included battery’s capacity. Using liitokala lii-500 and extensor, the result is 24mah.

Same results for me desmondkun!

Nice output and runtime for 24mah battery, though.
