Something similar to UltraFire C3

I tried posting this in another thread earlier but apparently the topic was actually spam and advertising for some website so it got deleted. Anyway, I was saying that I loved the UltraFire C3 body (perfect for edc in my opinion) but unfortunately it has some thread problems and the head pops off now.

I'd like to know if anybody has some suggestions for a high-quality light similar to the C3 (at least in size, but I like that particular design as well). I've seen one by TANK007 (this, but I don't know what model it is) but don't know about its build quality. I've already dropped around $70 on the TrustFire TR-3T6 and some batteries so I'd like to keep it $25 or below if possible. :D

How about the stainless steel C3 - basically a completely different animal of much higher quality. Try to get a 93mm long one - they are better.

Might be a bit heavier but that never bothered me.

Avoid the Aurora SH0030 (especially the 5-mode) and SH-035 they are worse.

To be honest, I'm surprised about problems with the threading, I own more than ten C3s and clones and not one of them has had this problem though just about all of them other than the stainless steel ones have or had serious contact problems. They are easily enough fixed but rather annoying.

The one in the pic looks a lot like a single AA Fenix - an LD10 without a clip. They are definitely worth a look but more than double your budget.

Others within your budget that are worth a look.

Uniquefire G10. Personally I don't like the styling though.

Hugsby P31 but beware, you are quite likely to get one with a 14500 only driver.

The EastwardYJ J09 4 mode. But beware, they really, really mean it about 1.5V max. I drew more than 4 amps from an NiZn cell in one of these - neither the driver nor the LED will handle that for much more than a second.

Tank007 E07 - a lot smaller than the C3. I like both of mine a lot but not everyone does.

I've a C3, a SS C3, and a UniqueFire G10. The SS version is great, but much heavier. The G10 is very solid and durable, and as the led is smaller and has a smooth reflector, it will throw further. I would choose this one.

BTW, if you want to spend more money, the 4Sevens Quark AA costs 52 USD, and looks very similar to the C3 (the second of the picture)

It's a tank 566 it's everywhere ..One of my favorite lights ..It has a great feel super anodoization and an easy to buy extra battery piece to make it a 2 AA light .. the adapter has grooves for your fingers that make it nice to use like that too ...it fits like a glove in a AA mini mag light slide in holster and tints and levels of light in modes are well spaced ... only one downside to the light and that is pwm ...great light . this and the lil AAA's 701/703/eo8/are the best the company makes .
