Well this baby will be at my door probably Monday of next week. I got 2 Xtar 18700 2600MAH batteries instead of the 1800MAH shown in the picture. I bought it from protactical19. I saved some money and just put money straight into his paypal account. I think I got a great deal. A lot cheaper than anyone else I have found. For those wanting to know, the price was $115 shipped and that's everything you see above but with the better 2600MAH batteries I already stated. Thank you Shane.
I wanted another great thrower and decided to just get the M3X. I guess we will find out how this light stacks up against the Catapult V3. I think I'm going to really like this one.
at last a side by side comparison between the m3x and the cat v3. just saw a video beamshot comparison between the two in youtube made by goinggear.com i think and saw the m3x slightly ahead in throw / hotspot brightness.
ended up with the tk41instead coz had thicker tube & more modes (than the m3x) and is readily avalable here (for warranty purposes).but i likes the m3x for having complete accesories set.

Hey thanks for the comments. Yea both are great lights. But I think the 63mm head on the M3X will win out in the throw contest vs the 58mm head on the Catapult V3. And it should. I seen that goinggear video as well. And I agree that the M3x won. The hot spot did look tighter I believe on the Catapult V3.
there are actually two videos.one was shot in a field with trees on one side with some statues(?) or markers for 100,200 and 300 yards i think. the second video was with the lights aimed at a house's roof and trees beyond. in that video both v3 and m3x had their hot spots placed side by side.m3x slight winner.
what i like about the m3x sample here is that there was no hint of green in the tint.it was really white! unlike my tk41...ughhh...darn green tint.

yup those are the vids im talking about.man that cat's got a nice white tint! makes me want to head back and grab that white tint m3x in a shop here.
cat has a slightly warmer tint i noticed.
