[CLOSED] Cellguy's Mystery Box Silent Auction Updated - Winner's Pictures Posted

My title might be a bit over the top but BLF has always been a fantastic supporter of mine and I wanted say thanks by having a little fun and getting the rest of my old inventory out of my closet and into the hands of people who can use it.

I have filled four large (12x12x5.5”) USPS flat rate mailing boxes with a variety of LED flashlights, battery chargers and EDC gear from companies like Armytek, XTAR, Inova, Delkin, Fisher Space Pens and Storacell. The quantity and mix of gear in each box is generally the same but there is variation from box to box. You can bid (in whole dollar amounts) on any or all boxes by filling out the form below.

One box, chosen at random will also have a new Zebralight H600w MK3 included as part of the gear.* *

Be interesting to see how this turns out. I know the other thread got a lot of attention. Good luck. I might throw a number here in a couple days just to see.

No minimum bid so who knows you might get lucky!

I’m game. Bid submitted

Not expecting to win, but put in a bid and would pretty sweet if I did win one

Starting at the end my day tomorrow, I will post if any boxes have matching bids. In this case, since the Google Form provides time stamps, the first bid placed would be the ultimate winner if the tie remains at the end of the auction. I will not say what the bid amount is but you are welcome to rebid if you wish. I am also going to eliminate the shipping address box from the form. It will make rebidding quicker, and since there is only four winning total possible it will not be hard to collect later.

Teaser pic...

We had a couple of ties earlier today, but they have been broken. I am enjoying seeing all the different bidding strategies! Thanks to everyone who has participated so far!

Can I get a hint of strategies? I’ve never done a silent auction before.

Oh I was really just joking. The differences are mainly how many boxes people decide to bid on and which box they put their highest bid on. It all random really, no actually tricks to winning.

Should have done a weight so we could bid by the pound!

haha, I like that idea. Today is the last day to place your bid. I will announce the winners tomorrow.

Bidding closed last night and there were two winners of two boxes each. They have been notified via PM. I will let them decide if they wish to reveal themselves. Of course feel free to post pictures of your loot once you receive it. Thanks to everyone who participated and I hope the winners enjoy their prizes.

Figured my measly $10 bid on each box wouldnt score me a win :person_facepalming:

Congrats to the winners, kind of interested to see what the haul is

Bid on all four but at different prices. Highest was $57 I believe, plus $20 for shipping, so $77 total. Thought about going higher but kind of hard to do if you have no idea what is actually in the box. Hope the high bidders enjoy their winnings.

I hope they enjoy the prizes too.

Don’t know what they went for, but bet it’ll be quite fun discovering what’s in store for them

One the winners wishes to stay anonymous but asked me to post: “I definitely got my money’s worth” along with the following pictures.

Wish I noticed this post while I could still bid. Nice box of stuff. :+1:

you told me you were going to stop buying lights…
