Does anyone have experience with the Luminus SST-20-B 445nm Blue?

It’s from Kaidomain.

Hi. I have the S2+ W1 Red and W1 Blue. Can I take the MCPCB out and swap it into a FC11?

d! I’m such a noob to this scene but I’m down for product knowledge in an entertaining way. I still don’t even know what a “throw” is lol

I like to think about what I want when making any purchase and I’m always scouring for real reviews so I can actually see what it looks like and how it worked. We sell on Amazon eBay and other channels so incentivizing a review (good or bad ) somehow ? But I’d love to hear from y’all … what a company could do (besides giveaway product to everyone haha) to really genuinely earn trust and business? Who’s doing it right? Who’s doing it wrong ? What could be done better?

AND.. as I learn and ask questions from this community- what can be offered to make it worth your time and opinion?

Finally how do I figure out who the customers are who use these flashlights? Basically I’d love to know …what do YOU use these products for? Besides everyday as needed use Camping ? Work? Biker? Hunting? Tactical? Police or military work?

Any recommendations help guys! I’ve been unemployed since April 2021 due to covid layoff and I feel that the owner of Andrew and Amanda is a genuine business owner trying to give me a chance. I’d love to get insight on the customer wants and needs to mutually benefit us all. Aka anyone who has time to respond could help me in keeping me job lol …no pressure

Let’s talk chargers for a second, pretty please!
I’m due for a new one, my Xtar VC4 is dying a slow and terrible death.

Are there any AC powered 8 bay lithium ion / NiMH chargers available? I’m sure there is, but are there any good quality ones out there people recommend based on use?
I don’t need all the bells and whistles, just the basics.

Something like an 8 bay Xtar X4 would be perfect

I don’t have it but it’s often recommended on a local forum and people are happy with it.

Hi, need a little help. First time Anduril 2 user here.

I got a SC31 Pro using Anduril 2, and how do I go to strobe modes?

While OFF, I go click, click, press n hold …..then what? Do I let go after a second? Do I wait for a flash or something before letting go? Do I let got a fraction of a second?

It’s supposed to be 3H then 2C, right? By the time I get to 2C I just end up in ‘Turbo’, I believe.

I’m in advanced UI coz I can toggle between smooth and stepped after ON and 3 clicks.

Thanks!

Is it harmful to ceiling bounce UV light without safety glasses? Do I have to watch out for mirrors in the room? I will be using the Wurkkos WK30 365nm.

If your ceiling is whitewashed there would be no danger. If you’re wearing glasses, chances are they’re made from polycarbonate. That absorbs most of the UV radiation.
Beware of UV light that is reflected by shiny surfaces like windows, mirrors, or bathroom tiles. Think of all the tin-foil contraptions that are sold to sun lovers

You are a flashaholic if you are forced to come out of the closet, to make room for more flashlights.

The more recent version of Anduril II allows for mode switching with 3C from on in Simple UI, so it’s not a tell. Do 3C from off for battery check. If the voltage flash only runs one cycle, you’re still in Simple UI. 10H will take you to Advanced UI, and then 3H from off gets you into blinky modes, 2C to advance through the options.

Thank you very much!

You’re right – as it turns out I’m still in Simple UI! The 3C mode switching in Simple UI got me so I thought I unlocked Advanced UI.

Had to go a long way around with a factory reset then 10H to get into Advanced UI properly.

Thanks for the reply! Properly enjoying Anduril right now.

Can the color of the button light on a SC31 Pro be changed on standby or locked mode? I can do the 7C none-low-full-blinkthrob. It’s the 7H I’m trying to figure out if it’s applicable — example: I want the power button to look blue low while it’s locked out.

OR is this feature not available in the SC31 Pro (red and green for charging only)?

Thanks!

Nope. Switch LED’s are red/green only on this model.

Thank you! Was afraid I wasn’t doing it right. Thanks for confirming the hardware limitation!

Just curious if anyone has any recent feedback on a Sofirn IF25A? Most of the feedback out there are a year old already and I’m wondering how it holding out…against say a TS21 or such? Is it worth USD30 and Anduril 2.0?

Seems like the IF22A has been more popular, compared to the IF25A. It has been out for a while… and I’m wondering if they’re nearing a point for an updated release.

Why does this say “New” instead of “Updated”?

Not the brightest flashlight in the collection.

Use it as you would. I’d say if you think the brightness steps down too fast from a specific level then increase your temperature ceiling. Might as well check what room temperature the flashlight is reading while at it. Then there’s the aux light which you can set.

I’m still waiting on my TS10 but I’m going to probably be like you where I’ll keep settings in default at first, to see what works for me or not.

Thank you. I get around 3 seconds in turbo so I was wondering if I should adjust something. Also top ramp gives few seconds max, but that is identical power level as turbo?

And no I don’t expect light this small to hold turbo for a long time, but that flicking step down just irritates me. What I would want to adjust after temperature settings is that top ramp so it would end in that stepped down level and turbo would be just highest high. That is also possible, yes?

I believe top of ramp is by default 150/150 in simple UI, so yes.

Yes, again. I set my TOR in both simple and advanced UI’s at around 90/150. You’ll have to experiment to determine what works best for you.

I have Convoy L2 with sliced SST40 (when I was doing this there wasn’t SFT yet) and fet+1 driver.

Should I upgrade to SFT40?

I don’t use this flashlight anyway, like most of my collection.

kiriba-ru S2+ and S21a spacers are available in EU. PM me. A few details here
