I can't wait to get these! Nichia like CRI, low cost, and even domes with no tint shift.

What is everyone planning on putting them into? Smile

Already put 4 in my D4. It is now way floodier and has a beautiful tint with virtually no tint shift! Really like it that way, perfect for indoor use.

I already have them in my convoy C8+ (sliced dome) and skilhunt h03. I’m looking to build out a manta ray c8.2 (w/ the new noctigon 33mm quad board, custom spacer, and ledil angie optics) and a copper convoy S2+. I haven’t figured out what I’m going to do with the rest of them yet.

I have put 4 in a Q8.  Very nice.  I want to 12 in a multi-emitter TrustFire light.  It doesn't have a name.  Has 3P2S cells.  Then maybe a couple AAA lights, but not sure because I mostly like this emitter at high current.

I’m asking TA to help me put 3 in a C8F. That’ll make it a very practical 18650. Flood, throw, and HI CRI, with decent tint.

In my opinion they are really nice in a C8F. The reflectors give it just a little bit of hot spot so it makes a good all around light for sure.

I ordered a C8F of my own to do the same thing with as well.

Although thinking about ordering a 5000k from mouser so that I can mix the tint and get closer to the 4500k I really want.

I didn’t see Mouser selling any of the Samsung LH351 series LEDs, do they?

Maybe it was digikey, the link was posted earlier in the thread, I have not needed to order from either one so I didn’t really look into it much.

TA, any reason why you don't want to mix with another brand 5000K? I can't justify shipping with mouser unless you're planning on getting more stuff too.

If you can experiment maybe you can slice it, but AEDe has it in stock. Smile

How does everyone compare these with Nichia 219C/B? I want to use them in moonlight ready lights so I can use their nice warm color temps. Smile Looks like everyone is using them in multiple LED configs.

Edness, I do not know if it will help your astrolux... the 7135xFET made some weird purple tints on my light and in general they are not good for CRI due to the driver. Report back!

That is a consideration, I have some 5000k 319A’s that could work.

But does the forward voltage need to be similar in order to use them together?

Thanks to all participants of this GB who make it possible.)

No, at this moment. Exept changing of min order from 800 to 6400, some changes in Russian
legislation lead to my supplier no longer works with individual. Maybe it is temporary decision but maybe not.

In order to get the most out of them, yes they should be close but if you are not worried about maxing out each LED, then it is not so important as long as each LED individually can handle the full drive voltage you plan to run (aka, direct drive in this case).

Have you shipped my order yet? I might get a few 5000k 70cri as well just for the heck of it if not.

Texas_Ace: How many of those residual 17pcs of 5000Ks would you like to order? Maybe I'm interested in buying some or even all of them but I need to check my demand when I get home later on.

AEDe: If possible, could you please keep the rest of those 5000Ks (depending on how many Texas_Ace wants to buy) on hold until tonight? I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you!
