Oh yeah these look like it. Extremely rare unless you buy 6400 of them… haha.
I do wonder why Nichia has such few distributors, and why they want such high bulk quantities, unlike Samsung and Cree which have multiple suppliers and sources.
Future Electronics is their Canadian distributor, have you dealt with them?
They have some 5K 90cri 219b’s for sale dirt cheap, if the LHD351d’s are too big for an old xpg bike light reflector I might try cramming them in.
I already tried this. They won’t give any information for the few they have in stock. All they do is put you in touch with the Nichia rep who will happily sell you a reel of 1500 of your choosing.
I assumed you knew about them since they are in your province. Have you checked their address? Shipping should be quick for you.
I’m not sure if they sell to individuals or if you need to set up an account. Their minimum order quantities vary depending on product, they may have a minimum dollar value as well.
They have another website called Future Lighting Solutions. Lots of electronic components and optics as well if the minimum order quantity doesn’t bite you.

But their 219b stock is so limited. I’ve been looking for a place to get some 2700k 219b 9080 for awhile but still haven’t had luck.
I received the leds today, 4000k 90CRI
Damn, this thing is so good, the tint makes the cree ashame and can stand next to glorious Nichia
No greenish, not much tint shift
I tested with BLF a6 host, spring bypassed, and here’s the result(lg hg2)

THANKS SO MUCH.
I found some Nichia 144AM at a dirt cheap price.
I will ask them tomorrow about their specs.

They sell to individuals, I know that.
Until I know, I only used to look at their global site, not their regional distributors.
Now, let’s just say I understand why Clemence is the sole distributor of R9080 Nichia LEDs.
Shipping is cheap though at 5$US, which is very nice.
ALSO, I have found the glory that is the Optilosis 5000k R9590 LED.
I have a lot of things to purchase right now

My Led’s arrived today as well. Managed to get one in a Rofis TR20. What a PITA, totally worth the effort though.
Smoothed out the beam, tint is perfect and colours look better than both my 90cri 219c lights.
The two notches in the thermal pad indicate the negative side.
One down, thirty nine more to go.
