Which way do I insert 504b battery?

I've just received an Ultrafire 504b and one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190529994052?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649. Stupid noob question, but which way round do I insert the battery? Pos towards emitter?

General rule of thumb is always to insert positive towards LED.

Batteryholders in multi-18650 lights usually have icon about how batteries should be placed.

Thanks guys. Just out of curiosity, what would/might happen if someone did it the wrong way round? Dangerous? Damage the flashlight? Or it just wouldn't work?

It depends on the circuit used to drive the LED, most simply does not work some may be damaged a few will fry and a very limited number works either way (Spark ST6, and possibly all spark lights).
