We are now back to following the original plan and working hard to purchase good CREE 5000K 90+CRI emitters, just like the ones maukka tested, but from EasyWhite tint bin 3E (tightest 5000K tint bin provided by CREE => better tint than previous samples).
Again: No promises! Will probably succeed, but don’t get angry if something unexpected still happens.
Will the new Cree 5000K 90+ CRI be re-tested by maukka (to confirm if they are 90+ CRI)?
(or are they exactly the same batch as the previous tested ones)

They are not from the same batch and will be re-tested. The question is whether we’d like to wait (1-2 weeks?) more for the test or trust them and test only afterward? Opinions?

I will give my honest opinion: I don’t mind waiting for 2 or more weeks in order to be sure that these really are High CRILEDs!
I got enough lights to play with until the TO46R + emitters arrive to my door, so I’m also willing to wait in order to be sure that the quality is the expected!

BTW, I hope all this process contributes to Wuben offer more lights with High CRILEDs on their already well built lights! They will have a AA or AAA flashlight to be released in some months and I hope to have a High CRILED on that

If they're re-tested and found to not be identical or in some way otherwise slightly flawed, does that not open yet another can of worms?
