Zero PWM -- How to?

Hi all,
I’m new here, and trying to find out
what the choices are for (XM-L)
lights with zero PWM (no on-off
pulsing at all, just constant light).
Wondering what are the possibilities for PWM-free (P60)
drop-ins. Also other ways of
getting there – drivers, DIY mods,
custom mods, complete flashlights,
anything. Just trying to find out the
possibilities, and also where I
might purchase the necessary items.

Can you cope with high (undetectable by eye) PWM frequency or does it have to be completely PWM-less?

Very high frequency PWM would be acceptable to me, but if it is possible to eliminate it entirely, that would be my first choice.
Current regulation seems to be one way to go. But I don’t know who sells drop-ins or drivers that offer this. Current regulation is said to give improved efficiency and run times. If anyone knows more about this, or knows of sources of more information, or sources for these sorts of drivers or drop-ins, it would be great to hear more.

You have to look to higher end drop-ins for current regulation normally, makers such as Malkoff and Dereelight as a more affordable option. Single mode drop-ins normally don't have PWM for obvious reasons however.

I make custom drop ins like that here is a link to a thread I made. You can Pm me for more info if you are interested.
