Hi from the Gulf Coast

I’m so happy to find you guys. Looks like we are going to have some fun here  .
We live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and go to the Florida panhandle coast often,
some of the best beaches in the US.I own a few flashlights and for reasons unknown,
I’m hooked on them. Just purchased a HaikeLite MT07 and have no batteries yet.
Purchased some factory rejects on Ebay and in process of returning them now.
I have an OPUS BT3100 charger to check and charge batteries.
And I have many questions and I’m interested to making some mods and building a flashlight to.
Have a Great day and remember, ” Every day is a Holiday, Every meal is a Banquet, Every Payday is a Fortune…Keep on Smiling.

Have a pleasant time at this friendly forum, CNCman!

Thank You  ,
I’m looking fwd to fun  .

Hi and welcome CNCman. Have you made any torches yet?

Hi and welcome CNCman

Looking at you signature, I guess we will all be curious and expecting some lights machined by you

Welcome to BLF CNCman.
Glad you could stop in and join the fun here. :+1:
There are lots of projects here that could use a person of your experience. We don’t just buy flashlights here members come up with designs and other members contribute to make those designs happen. One big flashaholic family.

Hey how are you doing man? Welcome to BLF!

Welcome to blf, you should recognize where I’m from. Any questions you have there are people willing to help

Welcome to BLF CNCman! The HaikeLite MT07 looks like an awesome flashlight. Let us know what you think once you power it up.

Awesome! Welcome to blf!

Thanks Speed4goal, I’m only 5 mi from the Bay, small world sometimes  .

Hi there MRsDNF ,
No I have not built any, but I’m planning to. But before we do that, I have a lot to learn first. I have one idea and that was why we purchased the HaikeLite MT07. I thought about modding it , but that idea may not work. So it will need to be made from scratch.
Such Good people here, reminds me of a Camaro forum yrs ago. Thank You for the welcome  .

If you need batteries for your mt07s I have a set you can pick up today from me. I have some Panasonic GA cells and some 30q. I just got my mt07 in on friday. If you ever decide to build and MOD lights I can show you the basics to that. Convoys are good MOD friendly lights to build. But 20 dollars for either set of batteries you can pm me and we can meet around town or something. I have most of the common lights around here if you wanted try them out before purchasing them. I usually go to the ball field behind bayhigh there’s a little park there I take my kids to that’s not lit up well. A good place to test lights out at. The Bay cops already know its me out there.

Welcome to BLF, I’m wondering about your username, What kind of CNC work do you do?

Thanks Speed4goal, but I had already ordered batteries twice and had to return one set because they were factory reject sold on Ebay. The second set, I ordered the wrong batteries and canceled that order and ordered 4 Samsung 30Q 18650 3000mAh 15A Batteries and they will be in Friday 13 … LOL…… We will get together after I get set up  … Thanks again …

No Machinist has done it all, but we have been around a lot.
Milling machines, vertical - 3,4,5,7 axis. horizontal - 4,5 axis. G&L, Haas, MoriSeki, SNK, Mitsuseki, Mazak, Boko, Lucas, Sip, Allen Bradley, Cincinnati, Niles, OM3, BridgePort, Brown & Sharp, Toyoda over 50 different ones counting CNC lathes.
Plenty of manual machines too. Right now i’m at Michoud in New Orleans making fixtures for the SLS and test support for Stennis.
Feels great to be back Home close to our Family again.
