Up for sale is a Sofirn C8f I put together using Nichia 219C 4000k 90+ CRI emitters and a FET + 1 driver flashed with D4 ramping firmware. All parts were sourced from Mountain Electronics for premium quality. I ran an extra wire from battery positive to the switch to light the switch emitters. There is minimal drain but the switch emitters are not subject to low voltage protection so don’t leave your cell in the light for a year without charging it. The nichia emitters are wired with 18 AWG wires and driver/tail springs are bypassed with 20 AWG. The light draws 15 amps off a Sony VCT5 at 4.0 volts for around 2800 lumens out the front. It probably does 3000 lumens with a topped off cell. The beam is smooth and pleasing with a good usable mix of flood and throw. I’ll try for beamshots tonight.
