I’m looking for a flashlight for my fiancée’s mother.
It needs LVP despite that severely discharged batteries give much less light and regular user should be able to tell it’s time to charge.
I’d rather avoid having to buy a separate charger as that’s unnecessary burden and cost. Though if I can’t find a perfect match I can compromise here.
I prefer 10180 lights, but so far I found none that would have LVP.
I may go larger, but rather not as large as AAA.
Well, DQG Tiny AAA is my last resort - too large, no charging, no LVP but NiMH makes up for that. Though with NiMH it’s too weak too.
Great question! A friend gave me a CooYoo quantum ti 10180 light with built-in USB charger and I was thinking about how often I use it so was checking out some other 10180 lights as gift ideas. Didn’t see anything about LVP so decided against it as I don’t want to set up someone to fail.
If it’s an unadvertised feature on any models I’d love to know about it.
Thanks for the tip, will check it out.
ADDED:
That’s large. TINY is much better in this regard, though still over twice as large as Hobi Plus. And larger than DQG Tiny AAA by a third.
Hmm…interesting. Are there protection circuits for 10 mm batteries?
