another 5 Xml @MF skyray L1 clone. also skyray FTT

uniquefire V5 5xml $93.30 maybe this will do better than L1. any volunteers

XML Flood to throw Skyray $23.33

not at that price! but - I have a host for that drop in. just haven't found one yet

The uniquefire has the same crappy clickie switch as the sky ray l1 which I already have. If it was a different kind of switch I would maybe think about it. I am hoping trustfire comes out with a 5x with a nice clickie switch.

I'm with pseudox, I'll wait for a Trustfire version before I dive in. Too many horror stories regarding the FryRays.

I've also got a fryray 3800 host I need to find a drop-in for.

No mo' fryrays for me, however.

Light looks interesting, but price is out of my budget.

The LEDs value about $40 at retail market price.

Wow, that Skyray is appealing to me. It's a little high to jump on without knowing more specs or seeing a review. Certainly it is driven quite low to be run on 3AAA's. Wish they would have made it 3AA's! Heck I'd pay $10 more to run on 3AA's (even if it is under-driven)! I'm getting the impression that SkyRay branded lights don't have such a good rep.

+1 on all that

I hoping they'll eventually catch on and make all these 18650/AAA lights 26 or 32650/AA. The 3AAA lights I've tried have terrible run time and the cells cost too much...

I saw a Trustfire version the other day. Someone spammed and I responded to the thread not even realizing it was spam. The thread was deleted but sb56637 gave me the name of the website. I'm not sure I want to give a spammer any business. SB suggested we ask one of our trusted vendors to see if they can get the light.

If you'd like to see it, type in Trustfire 6000 lumens on Google and you'll see it.
