Suggestions for a ~50€ (~60$) Flashlight

Hello everyone, i’m new around here, i’m oxidized, 24, and from pastaland. I’m a electronics technician, although i’m here seeking for help choosing a flashlight for all purposes.

So as the title says it has to be around 40€ less possibly, that’s my maximum budget, i saw a bit but for some reason all of them didn’t convince me fully. I also read and watched a few reviews made by lightsngear, but in the end i couldn’t come up with the winner. On my search i preferred looking for something with an integrated charger, so that i don’t have to take out the battery to charge it, i take it that the best led around for this price point is the XP-L2 V6, although i’m not sure i would notice the difference, but still i trust “experts” in the matter, i also don’t care for those SOS-Strobo modes, so if absent it’s better, otherwise something that doesn’t bother my switching between each level, like a alternative button or something like that. Besides this, i just want the best this amount of money can buy, so my tastes and don’t really matter, but i really hope that at least the charger would be integrated

Thanks in advance for your time.

The Mini GT might be an option, xpl hi, narsil UI, and in your pricerange (via user M4DM4X)

It does not have internal charging. Maybe nightwatch avaritia?

Thanks for the answer!

I’m just checking the mini gt thread, it looks interesting, didn’t expect to see such a broad head, but well i guess it’s fine! well i’ll be keeping an eye on it for sure.
The avaritia looks pretty good but seems to go beyond my budget of at least 15€ or so, if i’m not mistaken, so well…I’d like that but i guess nope…

Non-regulated flashlight with MOSFET e-switch driver, as many others. Multiple selectable mode groups. All around well built flashlight. Use a high discharge cell with it.

Cheers ^:)

Thanks!
Woah, that’s pretty good! Keeping an eye on this too. Of course i’ll be accepting as many suggestions possible and then make up my mind!

Hi and welcome oxidized! When you write “all purposes”, does it also include close-up range, e.g. to help you with your work? Something pocketable or doesn’t matter?

Hello! Well yes, i could use something close up range, i use often my crappy flashlight to help me with that, but a better help is much appreciated, pocketable is fine, just not too tiny, i guess i’d like to stay in the 18650 or bigger range, anything 18650 or bigger will do, not sure about smaller stuff…

Hard to pass up the Zanflare F1. Affordable, plenty bright, rechargeable. $19,99 on Gearbest right now.

I was thinking about a tube-light too, something like Zanflare F1 or Thorfire TK18

I confess that both the zanflare f1 and the thorfire TK18 were something i was seriously considering, but then i asked myself “how could i know if there’s something better for the same or slightly higher price?” At that point i decided to ask here.

edit: I just noticed the zanflare F1 is on amazon prime sale for 16€! Any preference between these 2?

What about the Anker LC130, it’s also on prime sale for 29€

I don’t have any experience with the TK18. I am sure it is a fine light. Thorfire does a great job. I would snatch up that F1 for that price though.

BLF Q8

There’s literally one thing i don’t really like about the F1, the light steps, in the end it’s a ~1000lm flashlight, but the high setting only reaches ~600, i’d have preferred something closer to 900, like for example the sofirn sf36 which has 1070lm on high mode.

That’s well over my budget from what i’ve seen.

Ok so, i’ve seen the Olight M2R Warrior is down to 56€ and i forgot i had an amazon coupon for 18€ (refund of a previous purchase) so i guess i’ll be grabbing that. Thoughts?

How about the Emisar D4? starting at $35

very compact (one of the smallest 18650, and comes with 18350 option), bright! (upto 4000 lumens, though only for short burst), and fun! the stepless brightness UI is second to none

no onboard charging though.

That’s pretty cool tho, oh geez i’ll never make up my mind :person_facepalming:

lol, now you see why many of us have 50, 100, 200 lights
Just choose one that makes sense to you, take your time, research is half the fun. Then, buy your first light, because we know it and you know it, it won’t be the last

Buy something cheap. It’ll help you better determine what really is important to you.

Emisar d4 is cool. I’d say BLF A6 though.

Q8 with coupon is like 44$
