Is it going to be sold with a headstrap?
If it does, I’m very interested.
Yes, regular headlamp belt can be used on this light. PL47 uses 21700, this form factor is not so good for using as a headlamp. Gross weight is near 150 grams including the battery.
Hi FireFlies!
Do you think these lights will be available to ship in October? Thanks
Probably, bulk production processing is scheduled to be finished before 20th Oct. We can not grantee the deadline , there are many steps to work out on new completed products.

What will the recommended cell for use in this flashlight be? mAh and amps drawn? Interested, if I can find a good energy solution for it. Thanks for this project!

Just a quick update. I have Anduril working on the PL47, including both the front-facing aux LEDs and the switch LEDs. The two sets of LEDs are synchronized, except that it’s possible to put the switch LEDs in a “low” mode while the front-facing aux LEDs stay off entirely. Or, they can also be configured for off, high, or blinking.
It seems to work pretty well, but I discovered one downside which only affects people who want to reflash the firmware. With the aux LED board connected, it interferes with firmware flashing. I’m not sure why exactly, but on the prototype, it’s necessary to unsolder one of the aux LED board wires before flashing, then solder it back on again afterward.
Otherwise though, it acts like a normal aux LED board… with the bonus that it changes color when the battery is low.
Interested as well!

Good.
Any consideration of a 4000K option? Emisar offers this and it seems to be a popular choice for many customers, including myself.
Looking forward to this light.

Wondering the same. Will the Samsung 50E 5000mah (https://www.imrbatteries.com/samsung-50e-21700-5000mah-9-8a-battery/) be enough?
Or will the Samsung 40T 4000mah (https://www.imrbatteries.com/samsung-40t-21700-4000mah-30a-battery/) be required for max brightness?
Interested.

That sounds great ToyKeeper!
With Anduril firmware set up by Toykeeper, why would anyone want to flash something else?
As long as one can swap emitters, this light sounds like a winner, can’t wait to get my hands on one.
