What LED, adjustable temperature color

I noticed a lot of Video and lighting LEDs now offer adjustable color temperature eg 2000k to 5000k

Eg

Wagner light

Does anyone know what LEDs are capable of this? I'm doubting its a RGB LED.

Actually, it is using dual temperature color LEDs, and then mixing the two together to create a wide color gamut beam with varying color temps.

At 2000k, only the 2000k LEDs are on.

At 2001-4999k, both the 2000k/5000k LEDs are on at different levels of brightness.

At 5000k, only the 5000k LEDs are lit.

It’s the same thing we are doing with the BLF lantern.

Thanks, I will read more into the BLF lantern.

So because there are 2 LEDS stacked together, how you control each one individually by brightness level to get a mixed color range.

You just use a dual channel driver:
one channel controls the 2000k LEDs, and one controls the 5000k LEDs.

You just control the power levels of each color temperature to get the desired final color temperature.

With CCT mixing, the two different LED temps are on different circuits. The low temp circuit and high temp circuit are both controlled independently. In the case of the BLF Lantern, there will be one driver which is able to control the two channels to mix the temps.

ok makes sense to me know. Thanks

There are special osram LEDs that have different colour temperature dies in a single LED.
The easy way is to use separate LEDs.

I got one of these Osrams, works pretty well with the dimmer.
