what are the best tire chains out there, i never used them yet, but i will have to do quite a lot of travel this winter to Catskills and Pocono mountains, …etc, and i have a feeling i’ll need them, i have 2018 honda pilot. i see many chains sold online, but what type is the best and what type to avoid??

How much travel in the snow and Ice are you planning on doing? In the 10 Years of living in Alaska I have never needed to chain up.
Get some good winter grip tires for that Pilot. Never had to chain up my Wife’s Pilot (AWD) in the 8 yrs we had it in Michigan. The AWD Pilot is an excellent snow vehicle with the right tires. Have plowed through many a snow storm with it. I think we had Yokohama Ice-guards on it.
My Wife has never needed chains and she has had jobs that got her going up North a lot in the Winter.
