Ordered clear finish with SST-20’s in 5000K, purple aux lights…. looking forward to this one!

Clear one looks very nice.  If FF ever gets the purple/ice blue combo aux board again I would order the clear one.That being said, the raw aluminum one looked way better imo.

I got my e07 today.  I bought the black / Nichia 219B R9080 / Red version from nealsgadgets, and I paid extra for shipping. 

So far I really like it.  The beam has more spill than the ROT66, which I like.

What do the lights do when voltage is low?

Looks like on mine there is a ring of blue leds around the center which turns on for low voltage. If I unscrew the tailcap very slowly, I can see them flicker just before the connection is lost.

Red aux lights actually looks better than I thought.

Nice to finally see a picture of the red aux! Mine (Grey / Nichia 219B R9080 / Red) is still en route. I noticed that the red option is now an extra $8 so I’m glad I got my order in early.

I’ve just received a shipping email for a 219b clear anodized E07 from FF. How exciting.

Just noticed FF just added the xpl Hi V2 5A 4000k. Really wish they had that option a couple weeks ago damn it. I had to go with the 5000k at the time.

Is the driver glued or does it have a retaining ring?

Do we have any throw meausrements for the SST20 or XPL HI version?

My 2nd unit (this one Desert Yellow / CREE XPL HI V2 NW 5000K / Blue) shipped from Nealsgadgets, although with a different method (DHL eCommerce) than my last order for some reason.

It must be seriously floody then as the ROT66 is already a very floody light.

Aren’t the optics the exact same? 25 degree optics?

Damn that E07 looks twice as bright as the D4. Amazing!

It looks pretty good wow.  Hoping my E07 XPL Hi 5k is going to be almost as bright as the 6500k.

Yea its better to compare with d4s and e07.. i think e07 will be brighter than d4s…

E07 xpl hi 6500k will be around 5500 ballpark.. will find out when i get the light..

I got my Emisar D4 (with 10623 optic) in the mail today and I have to say that now I really want a floody optic version of the E07.

Basically, I think the D4 is too small and it could also probably benefit from the larger 21700 battery.
