I recently received some more Convoy S2+ with coloured Osram CSLNM1 emitters. From left to right – .23 (Red), F1 (Green broad spectrum), .14 (Blue), and .FY (Orange-Yellow broad spectrum).
The broad spectrum Green and Orange-Yellow emitters are very interesting as there is still some colour rendering across the whole spectrum.
Unfortunately, it seems that the Red LED driver doesn’t appear to be functioning correctly. Both 100% and 20% appear to have the same output, and it looks like the temperature protection isn’t working as this light runs considerably hotter than the others.

Because this CCT does not harm the endocrine system and the sleep cycle,
and is perfect for indoor use.

Well,a small clicky light TIR lens 3/4modes (no strobe)
start 0,1 lm – 4 lm -25lm – 100lm with reversible UI would be nice

How long do you think the AAA flashlight cannot exceed?
Simon, you should try the Luminus SST-70 with a 5A-6A driver in the L6. I installed one in my L6 and the beam is amazing. MUCH better than XHP70.2 and XHP50.2.

I compared the flashlight with the L6 XHP70.2. From the naked eye, the brightness of the two is similar. I feel that this sample of mine is a little greenish, which should be due to the lack of red phosphor. Its light spot is relatively uniform, and there is no yellow-green on the edge of the light spot like XHP70.2.
How quickly does a flashlight get hot compared to XHP70.2?
The driver has a built-in temperature control. Now the temperature is low in winter and the flashlight heats up slowly.

It depends,for keychain use smaller is better otherwise 75-80 × 14mm max.

That’s awesome! Djozz tested the SST-70 and got 4000 lumen at 6 Amps. His lumens are a bit high, but the SST-70 matches the XHP50.2 in output up to 6 Amps. But then you get the increased throw and hardly any tint shift from the SST-70. I’m curious to see what the SFT-70 does as well

Simon which tint bin did you get for the GT-FC or did you specify a tint bin when you ordered? For example the C3 tint will be much less green than the D3 tint.

I don’t have a spectrum tester, so I don’t know its true color rendering. If anyone has relevant test equipment and is interested in making a detailed review, please contact me and I will send samples for free.
These 2 made me smiling for days. M21B is perfect host for XHP50.2 and new T2 is simply WOW.
Although description of new T2 say it’s 0.5A on AA and 1.5A on Liion, when running both chemistry on max setting, brightness difference is minimum. At least to me.
I just love it. Perfect size and bright as hell.

This is the only reason why I like flashlights, working in dark and visibility is essential. Rainbow tints give me a headache and give the wrong perception of a hydraulic leak (yellow-green corona looks the same as hydro fluid on a titanium material)
Recently received S21B, and when I shake it I can clearly hear rattling sound, when I shake head only – sound persists. And when I touch glass by finger I can definitely fell glass and reflector moving (and making that sound). I try to screw down bezel – but it’s screwed down to the max, no space left. And for s21b I can’t screw down the pill (because there is no pill). Any ideas what should I do?
Just a quick question about early versions of the 12-mode bastard biscotti drivers. I had a ∅17mm driver ordered from FastTech on July 9th sitting in a drawer which I just used for a “dormant” build aaand… holy sh1t! The thing seemed to work right at first, but started misbehaving nearly from the start doing all sorts of glitches: incorrectly changing modes or not in any way I could discern, random strobes, and right now it just doesn't powers on. Already dismantled the S2+ flashlight in which it is installed for inspection a couple times, everything else inside is in full working order. Is the software so terribly bugged?

Check the o-ring between reflector and lens.
Replacing it with a thicker one would help too.
