Simon, any update on the status of S2+ MAO? Or when to expect that to be available for order?

They are in production, but there is no definite date for completion.

Is there an 20500/18500 or 20350/18350 battery tube for the S21D?

I think very few users have this demand, and most batteries can not withstand such a high current.

I had to ask. Thank you Simon!

Simon, are you planing on releasing a version of the new S21E with XHP50 emitters?

Actually, I don’t like the uneven light spot of the XHP50.2.
what about 3V XHP50.2 6500K

I was thinking more like XHP50.3 HI 4000K.

Yeah, getting these LEDs in China is very difficult, so that’s no dice really.

A question about the S21D:

A few months ago when S21D came out, there was no other driver option available, now there is the 12A FET and the 8A CC driver.
What was the driver in S21D when it came out?

If you visit the store through the ali app, there are plenty of store coupons to choose from depending on the spending amount.

Does anyone know of there is a difference in efficiency between the 8A buck and 8A CC driver in the S21D?

Thank you,

does the 8A CC driver have great advantages over the 8A buck driver?
Which one of these 2 would be preferred, as the 12A FET driver should not be that good as I read?

A side switch and USB charging version of the S21D would be fantastic.

They are even listed for everyone to see on the front page of the Convoy store. For Example.

AliExpress stopped the previous coupon rules. At present, you can only get coupons on the front page of the store.

I’ve got the L8 and the M3-C light in front of me now. I like both but the L8 is not a carry light. Would it be possible to build a new light with the L8 26800 tube and tail, M3-C head, 25 amp driver and use the SFH55 LED? And of course with the optional stainless steel bezel. Another idea same set up with a quad XHP-50.3 LED.

For the M21D with GT-FC40, what is the actual measured current draw from the battery on Turbo?

Also, what is the measured battery voltage once fully charged in the light.

Hello Simon! Is it possible to put a FC40 in the S21A host??

There’s no replacement for displacement.

No. Simon does not make a driver that is compatible with both FC40 and S21A.

7070 sized emitters are somewhat overkill for 21700 tube lights. They will step down and be thermally throttled very quickly. A bit more thermal mass around the head is required.
The slightly larger S21D 4×519A is pretty close in performance to the FC40 in much larger M21 series lights, so maybe consider that.

In addition to the maximum mode, there are also lower modes, and many of them we use more often.

Hmm I see. Well. Thanks for answering guys. I just received a S21D with the 219b and I’m loving it! Best tint I own! But out of curiosity I really wanted to try the new FC40 in 1800-2000k but I don’t want a S11. Guess I’ll be going for the M21B. It is slightly larger than a S21A but not as thick as the S11. Also much more eye pleasing. Smile
