so,iam looking for something new for her…her original amplifier need a lot of these batteries…maybe something rechargeable could be good…
i self dont know how to help her…thanks for help…
Read just the title and was thinking………single mode, single AA, 30 lumen LED, rubber armored body, plastic lens, and a really big fat protruding glowing tail button with maybe some extensive tutoring thrown in.
I work with some deaf people that use hearing aids, some very expensive, so I can relate with what you say about batteries!
However, if you can buy that pack of enegizer cells, it is not a bad deal.
Those small cells are about 0,50€ each, here in PT! I normally buy them from chinese stores for my small flashlights/lasers. But after a while, they end or leak sometimes.
If the use of yours (your mother) is more serious and has to do with health issues, maybe the Energizer can give you some better “reliability”.
If it is really expensive, take a look at the ones on the AliExpress link showed above!
yes,i accept…cheap batteries can be a problem of course…i found a source right now for energizers…yes, its serious problem…pitty, that these small button batteries can not be recheargable….but thanks for this comment.
Ebay has some very affordable rechargeable hearing aids. I don’t know enough about them to recommend a good one but a quick search on Ebay showed a whole bunch of them ranging from cheap to expensive.
Short answer is they’re all crap. Every single one of them. When and If you ever begin to lose your hearing you want to see an audiologist. I’m not a doctor but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night and I can tell you that many ‘cheap’ ones can’t handle the most common frequencies of sound lost in humans, they can’t block out white noise either so you’ll hear all the static and crap like a bad pair of headphones…you won’t want to even wear them, fresh batteries or not. There is also the issue of dexterity; the elderly especially have trouble placing them into the ear canal properly so they need the right ones for themself. Being deaf affects your balance too, and the longer you go without hearing the harder it is to again adjust to sound, which is another reason the elderly fight using them. If you love this person, take them to an audiologist…It’s no different from needing major surgery. If you wouldn’t look to eBay for a doctor then, don’t now.
NKON has great products with certified quality, but both the products and the shipping are very expensive! Ex? 3 Sanyo GA costed me 14 €, shipping costed 13€…
It will be a deal killer on these smaller batteries, for sure.
