Wondering what and where the good battery deals are? I’m looking for a couple 18650’s, my lights are 2-3 A (C8’s & D80) I think, and the 1600-2000mah would probably be fine, more interested in non-counterfeit & safety (boring I suppose lol.)
But anyway I’m not the only one looking at this thread, hopefully, so post any battery deals you see that look interesting.

You’re gonna save what, a buck a cell buying small capacity cells, not worth in IMHO…
Samsung 35E’s (3500mAh capacity and capable of 8-10A*) are my personal choice for lower current lights because of the excellent performance and runtimes they provide. No reason to buy sub 3000mAh cells these days, it’s 2019 after all, enjoy the technological advances!
*but that’s not saying they’ll force 8-10A into your “2-3A” lights, just that they’re capable of higher drain so if you upgrade lights down the road you can use the cells you’ve already got.
Does everyone pronounce mAh as a word? I only really use mAh when typing on the internet, IRL I usually state capacities in amp hours. E.g. A 30Q has “three amp hours” capacity if I’m actually speaking to someone. Idk, just funny to hear someone pronounce “mAh”, that’s the word I say to stop a deer to be able to get a shot off lol.

You need to ask Mooch about that, the point of the link i gave was to enrich anyone`s knowledge about batteries and their capabilities since Mooch is an expert on the subject.
I used to vape and never had any problems with any batteries recommended by Mooch, some other folks that laughed at it, and made fun of my suggestions and Mooches recommendations have had few bad things happen to their units by pushing the limits beyond their capabilities while using the wrong batteries instead of what was recommended to them.

Currently using Samsung 20B laptop pulls I got in like 2014 off ebay, and they are fine, I’m usually at half A using for a walk. But it’s probably time to upgrade 
Got 25R Samsung. 2500mah and up to 20A. Looks good to me. Only $3.99 at 18650batterystore. I think they’re up to $4.99 now though.
