Less throw the reflector is smaller and you miss out on the side switch and charger.

The Convoy’s 8A buck driver is far more beneficial than a FET+1 driver. I’m also concerned about driving these emitters too hard, remember Djozz only tested 1pc. Black spots have been appearing on some and I’ve heard that some bins don’t like to be driven too hard.

The Convoy L21B with 8A driver gets 1200m which is plenty

When? Convoy is back with several options in sft40: M21A, M21B, M21C, M21D, M21E, 3×21A, S16, S21A, L21A, L21B, Z1. What´s up with Astrolux?

It’s now more than 2 months since I ordered the Astrolux FT03 (SFT40), but BG still lists it as no stock.

I wonder if BG will automatically cancel the order?
(I notice the BG system automatically cancels orders when reaching somewhere around 3 months, and it’s getting close there).

I was wondering the same thing. Don’t know wether to cancel order or let it go. Wish they could somehow provide us with details on ETA.

BG must monitor forum. I received an email this morning asking if I want refund. States that if I do nothing refund will take place in 7 days. I guess they don’t forsee any change in availability.

Yes, received the same email today..

Dear Banggood Customer

Thank you for your order.

We are sorry to inform you that the item(s) in your order is/are taking longer than expected to restock because of excessive demand.

In order to guarantee your interests, we can cancel the order for you.

If you have other products in stock that you want to change, we can also change them for you after calculating the product price difference. Please provide the link of the product you want to change. (if there are multiple attributes, please confirm the attributes together)

Please note that if the products in the order still cannot be restocked within 7 days, the order will be cancelled by default.

The thing is, there has been no stock ever of the FT03 (SFT40) yet from what I know, so the “reason” of “excessive demand” is funny..

My guess is they were referring to demand of this new LED. If the builder of the FT03 did receive the leds, they may have decided to allocate those particular leds to a different company’s product. Or the FT03 builder may have been promised a shipment of that led which was later sold to a different manufacturer.

Simon has procured enough SFT40 LEDs to keep his lights going, so it’s probably case N.2 or rather a case of “first come, first served”.
