Are the numbers on the Lumen and Lux accurate? Does it come with a battery or an 18650 adapter?

No tests yet, but:
Lux is close, lumens is 10-15% less, no battery, don’t know about adapter.

If you have a look on Banggood there’s no adapter advertised.

Ok…all this “overstating” talk has me curious. I have an original run U-torch UT02, stock. Would it be safe to assume that the FT-03 will outperform it significantly? That’s my only goal. I’ll be honest, the UT02 does really well out to about 200 yards..maybe 250…but past that, it’s just “visible”.

I’m personally not going to concern myself too much if the FT03 can outperform that by a decent margin…for the price.

Any ideas?

The SST is going to outperform the UT02, yes. Bith the Lumintop ODL20C and Astrolux FT02 outperform the UTorch offering so this light should as well. It’s not out yet but I expect the numbers might be a little embellished but it’s likely to still be a remarkable light.

That’s kinda what I was thinking. Thanks for the info!

SST40 in neutral white. Someone mentioned it in Kaidomain’s thread.

Yeah it’s quite nice as I’ve actually found it.

The only problem is that the flux bin is N3 instead of the N4 used in djozz’s test, so lumen output will be even lower.

Edit: Sorry was wrong. Was thinking about N5 instead.

This should destroy the UT02. At least in lux. Reflector is going to be roughly 8mm larger.

I’m going to guess official support for flat top and button tops will work as long as they aren’t too long (looking at the FT02)

My guess is that even the longest 18650’s and 26650’s will fit since it also takes 21700.
I don’t know about ‘long’ 21700. (or how loose ‘short’ xx650’s will be)
