Battery for Emisar D4 (UK)

Ive recently purcahsed ( and received) an Emisar D4 purchased from here https://intl-outdoor.com/emisar-d4-high-power-led-flashlight-p-921.html and a battery (Samsung 30Q 3000mAh battery)
I’m looking for an additional battery/batterys , however I’;m aware that there are many dodgy batteries/dodgy retailers out there any recomendations on what to get and where from - preferably with a good run time, thanks.

appologies if posted in the wrong place/question already asked too many times, as I’m new here and this is my first post

for sure, Ecolux,

Norb is your man!.

I’ve used Torchy before. Decent prices and fast shipping.

I use these

ecolux,

xtar direct.

all good

I’ve ordered 18650, 18350, and 26650 from https://www.ecoluxshopdirect.co.uk/ (straight from the shop, and also via their E-bay shop). Happy with the result, and Norbert was very helpful answering my questions.

I also got quick replies to questions from Torchy-The-Battery-Boy ( http://www.torchy.co.uk/ ) although I haven’t purchased from this site (but would consider it in the future).

Thnaks for the links/suggestions, theres a huge choice of cells out there, any recommendations as to what model/make?

Why not just get more 30Q’s?

Ampsplus 3500 10A is good.

LG HG 2

https://18650.uk/product/lg-hg2/

any thoughts on this : https://18650.uk/product/lg-mj1/ looking for something with a reasonably high capacity

I use these in my D4’s and they work great:
30Q
VTC6

Ecolux or i use www.fogstar.co.uk/ i like that site as they do a full test on the cells and show you the results in fine detail.
ive never had a bad or knockoff cells from them so far.

Another one i’m looking at would be this : Ampsplus 18650 3500mAh 10A 3.7V Battery

I would recommend the Samsung 30Q 3000mAh for best compromise between capacity and high power output:
https://www.ecoluxshopdirect.co.uk/samsung-30q-18650-battery

For a slightly lower priced Samsung 30Q:
https://18650.uk/product/samsung-30q/

Lower capacity, but lower price, and a bit higher power output(Samsung 25R 2500mAh):
https://18650.uk/product/samsung-25r/

Absolute max power(Molicel P26A 2600mAh 30A!):
https://18650.uk/product/molicel-inr18650-p26a/

MJ1 is good, but the Sanyo 18650GA ans Samsung 18650 35E are just slightly better in testing. Personally, I run the Sony 18650 VTC6 in my D4. It seems to stay brighter longer.

Thanks for the suggestions, might go with the Sony 18650 VTC6 and a Molicel P26A 2600mAh
from my ( limited and relatively new) understanding higher capacity = lower output = not as bright?

There is a discount code for 18650.uk BLF10 for 10% off

Thanks, hopefully the cells they sell will be OK, unlike someone i know who vapes and bought some cheap batteries from a market stall, apparently it blew his charger up, and burnt his table!!

Fogstar for the win.

Outstanding customer service.
