This is weird. I've just triple checked the above link; definitely $38 (and 39 cents, to be exact) with free shipping. How is it possible we're seeing two different prices from the same link?
Total emitter mystery, is it XP-G?R2? a stated in the heading or XP-G R4? as stated in the product description? XP-E R2 or XP-G? Listed at 180 lumens. My translation of china specs says it it an XR-E R2 or Q5. But quite possibly and XP-G R5.
Ahh! I never thought to try the currency converter as the price is clearly stated as $38.39, but you're right, they mean £'s, not $'s! Sorry guys, thought I'd found a hot deal there Still looks like a nice light but I agree, not at $60.
@ Langcjl: Yes, clearer specs (assuming they're accurate) and WAY cheaper than Tank's site. Good find, gcbryan.
Wish I'd seen it before I ordered this light: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/fandyfire-g10-cree-xpg-r5-6-mode-350lm-white-led-memory-flashlight-w-strap-1-x-14500-1-x-aa-91699
Just hope this version doesn't fry the driver with a 14500 battery.
You cant go wrong with the G10 though. I had one that I ground down with my grinder so it would fit a minimag holster. Ground everything off it. Ugly as hell, a guy gave me $40 for it on the Fourth of July.
This is sort of an aside but the problem I’ve had with 14500 batteries is that they fry the driver or parts of it so that eventually the light only works with 14500 and not with AA’s anymore.
Therefore, other than in in one light I’ve tended to stay away from 14500’s.
