Jkk tail cap power bank specs

Hi, I’m trying to figure out the specs for this. I have three of their lights. also the directions that came in the box we’re not in English. I figured out it is one click of the power button to turn it on and two clicks to turn it off. I see there is a small 5 volt round input. question is can you charge the power bank with the USB c connector? also does the power bank have to be in the on position for it to charge? I’ve looked all over for instructions but I can’t find any.

I’ve got a JKK03.
Charging is via the µC up to 2 amps. Power bank LEDs will automatically turn on. I’ve never left it charging more than about 1 hour and the red LEDs remained ON. Pulled the batteries out and measured 4.02 V. Charged again for some 30 minutes and re checked at 4.20 Volts. Don’t know if turns off when fully terminated or pulses a trickle charge. Haven’t tried the 5 Volt barrel connector (also for charging). The Outputs are the regular USBs. Haven’t tried the capacity though (1 or 2 amps).
Double click for indicating LEDs OFF:
If I press On & OFF within 2 seconds will turn off.

Made a mini review but didn’t test the power bank.

Weird. I use USB c for my phone. When I plug the lights USB c port into my charger I don’t get any lights and it doesn’t charge.

so it turns out for some reason the light doesn’t like the anker USB C charger i used for my phone. it fast charges my Pixel XL, but won’t work with the light. a slower regular USB charger works fine on the light!

@ ndamico; Tried an Asus 2A, a Selectec QC 3A (BangGood) and a ‘Dash’ (OnePlus) chargers. They all work with peak 2 Amp delivery. Curious your Anker (a renown brand) fails to charge the flashlight. And as you can charge your Pixel XL, could be erroneous charging board on your unit. Bring it up with Kaidomain (or have you the Ali version - Rhuxyol?).

i have the kaidomain one… i have 2 JKK lights with rechargable tail caps. and neither like my anker. so my anker has 4 usb ports on it. one i believe is the fast port which i have my USB -C in . i haven’t tried putting a usbc cable in the slower ports. it just seemed odd.

right now i have a problem with my jkk03… it came with a tailcap on it and a rechargeable cap that goes between the body and the tail cap… it won’t screw onto the body but the cap does screw to it. seems like bad threads.

@ ndamico; ‘a rechargeable tailcap’ - is this an extension tube or are you talking about the charging module at the end of the battery cassette (magazine)?

It came with an extension tube that has the charging component in it. That’s what won’t screw onto the main light tube.

I’m having trouble understanding:

And for the charging, are you using protected cells? They may not want to be quick charged.

@ ndamico: “right now i have a problem with my jkk03.
So this is the JKK26. I’m not familiar with the JKK variants.

ndamico: “it came with a tailcap on it and a rechargeable cap that goes between the body and the tail cap.
Kinda dumb of me pointing this out, but the charging module is between the head and body (from Kaidomain’s store). You have it between the body and the tail cap in your photos. It is stated as a “charging head”.

As for your charging issue, are you using a protected cell? These may not fast charge. Also, what make of cell? Cheap knockoffs don’t charge more than 0.5 Amps. ‘Trustfire’ cells would leak.
