Please help - HaikeLite HT35 XHP35 flashing for a second

Hello all,
I just bought this flashlight and use 2 18860 batteries with sleeve. This flashlight blink for a second and then turned of, every time I turn it on. What does it mean? Is the batteries week or there is a problem with the flashlight?

Thank you for your help.

which 18650 batteries do you use?
sounds like protected batteries that shut down because to much current is drawn.

I just got an SC04 that does the same thing. I wound up sending a video to gearbest for a full refund. Got it to work sometimes but it still is not reliable. I think the issue may be that the retaining ring for the driver will not thread all the way down. Bad threads on the body. Check yours along with the tail switch to see if they are tight, it may help wit yours. This causes a short and makes the light think it has low voltage.
