I got it from ebay dealer Quick Charger

I got the charger in a envelope.

Measurements

  • Usb output is auto coding with Apple 2.4A, DCP and QC

  • Weight: 46.2g

  • Size: 85 x 49 x 26.2mm

The charger can deliver about 3.8A at 5V with 120VAC

And more with 230VAC

At 9V I got 2.6A and then the charger did not work anymore!

Tear down

Some pressure with my vice and breaking with a screwdriver got the lids off.

The circuit has a fusible resistor (F1) as fuse followed by the bridge rectifier and a switcher chip (DS3118).
Between mains and low volt side is a opto coupler and a safety capacitor.
On the low volt side is the large rectifier diodo (D4), the QC controller (U4: Marked ZJNhE) and a reference (U3: 431).

There is nothing on this side.

The distance between mains and low volt side must be above 6mm, here it is below 3mm.

The charger failed both the 2830 volt and 4242 volt test, this means it is unsafe anywhere.

Conclusion

I did not do much testing here, because the charger died, but even if it had worked it would not be good due to very low safety.

Stay away.
