3D printable diffusers for the D4 and D4S, feedback sought!

Hello all, just posted this over at reddit as well, hoping for some feedback! I have been appalled at the scant offerings for diffusers by and large, with the best you can find seemingly just being a plastic cone. I have a background in loudspeaker engineering, and something we dealt with in that field is diffusion and reflections. I am also a photographer, and not to brag but I’m on a first name basis with light. So I took my acoustic engineering knowledge and my photography knowledge, and attempted to mash them together in some sort of hare-brained attempt to make a 4000 lumen pants-melter into a nice tame lantern you might use to light the kids’ tent when you go camping. Or do like I do and pray for a lightbulb to burn out so you can spend the next 3 months using your D4S as a light in the bathroom. Or, you know, what ever.

Enough rambling, here’s the link: Flashlight diffuser for Emisar D4S E07 39mm bezel torch by ChickenPicture - Thingiverse
There are versions for the D4S as well as the D4, and an adapter ring to use the D4 size with 24mm tube lights.

These are the Mk.2 diffusers, they are slightly smaller and more tuned for the floody nature of the lights. The Mk.1s (longer, more outwards flare) did better with more throwy lights, like an A6 or S8, but even the SST-20 D4/S had no advantage with that design.

DISCLAIMER: I do not have any fancy equipment to accurately measure these results, I am using my camera on a rig and then measuring luminance channels.

Again, all feedback welcomed!
