Hi BLF’ers
Recently i read a post about someone who wanted to upgrade his D01. Initially i thought he was talking about a Emisar D01, but i was wrong and he was talking about the Courui D01.
Since i am back in business with flashlights since 2016, it seems i have missed this one.
The Courui D01 looks like a decent light with a quite large reflector and even a sideswitch, which makes it a very nice (and lets not forget cheap) thrower, with about just the size i am looking for.
Unfortunately it seems it is not available anymore, and trying to google for alternatives i saw another light which looks like it, and it seems the light is being sold under several names on AE etc.

Does anyone have experience with this light?
Or even better, what do you recommend being the best 2019 Courui D01 alternative?
And this may sound contradictory, since this is not a real thrower combo, but i was thinking about an L2 with XHP50.2 but Simon’s version can only be used with 2 cells in series,which makes it almost the same size as an L6. i prefer something the size of the D01, or Jaxman X1s or equivalent.
So do you guys have recommendations on such a light?
