Are turbo runtimes improved on this light over the original? I know its all dependent on mass, so likely not. I like the light, just torn whether to mod my q8 for more lumens or grab this one.

Like I said a few posts back:

Remember that Brightness and Run Time are linked together. The more brightness the less run time and vice versa. This new model is capable of higher max output which means it heats up and drains the batteries faster. You can’t defy the laws of physics.
Also remember that the original MF01 had a set thermal stepdown and you could not adjust it. This new one is adjustable so technically you could set the thermal limit super high and control it manually which may give more turbo runtime than the original even though the new light is much brighter.

A 90Cri 5000k emitter can either be the 219C or LH351D, both are known to be greenish tinted. I would much prefer a tint mixed SST-20 3500k with 6500k to produce a tint similar to the 219B 9080 and still have 80+ CRI.
Thanks definitely interested!

Looks very nice, interested!

If I understand correctly, it ships with the 2019-06-02 version.

Wait, what LED is this?
That’s not the SST-20.
That’s the 219C, or another 90CRI 5000k LED.
Could you ask what LED is this?

CRI is on the high side for SST20 right? I will double check with them.
@1theDeals
@freeme, the high CRI SST-20 is only available at 4000k CCTs.
The picture shows a 5000k LED.

Something is not right with those test results
X=0.3366, Y=0.3222 results in a CCT of 5290K and an IMPOSSIBLY ROSY duv of -0.0119

I mean, that duv could be possible with FA3 emitters.
However, that CCT has to be a 219C or LH351D.
Maybe they managed to get Digikey’s high CRI LH351D 5000k that I found last year?

Absolutely impossible with FA3 emitters. FA3 may be able to achieve -0.00119 but not -0.0119, which will make Cree 3D and 219B 9080 look green
Wait, I just noticed too.
That duv is insanely low.
Are they taking the measurements with the red LEDs for some reason?

Interested.
I have a tint mixed sst-20 FA3 / 6500k setup in my EDC and while it looks good it is not nearly that rosy.
