Agreed. What about a holster designed by Astrolux? I think they have sold enough of the MF01 mini that it is time for a dedicated bag.

I have noticed that the small Sofirn holster is a nice fit for the MF01 mini. It is elastic and thus fits also 26650 flashlights.

On the new Sofirn website sofirnlight.com they are pretty cheap, 2.99$ for two bags with free shipping above 19$.

I would say the quality is pretty decent and it is slightly bigger than the Astrolux. Of course, the Astrolux is more compact.

Cheaper and better quality. But you decide what you buy with your money, of course.

Im looking to buy this light, is there any codes for the groupbuy or how does it work? The cooper is really beautiful but i want the flashlight to be as light as possible for hiking, is the aluminium a better choice?

Does the copper one get less hot than the aluminium? Thanks! Smile

They get to the same temp, but copper takes a bit longer. Aluminum should be much lighter.

A good choice is the PLB-55. Here are the brands they are sold as:

Shockli 5500mah
Keeppower 5500mah and 6000mah
Vapcell 5500mah red and 5900mah purple
Orbtronic 5750mah

Freeme, what is the information that the manufacturer will insert the mod, (for
cooling) in this flashlight model?

I am growing weary of Banggood. I’ve heard many reports lately of flashlights supposedly being rejected by customs, including a friend that was trying to order a MF01 (full size).

After not hearing anything for a couple weeks about my MF01 Mini order (that supposedly shipped right after I ordered it) and Banggood never providing a tracking number, I finally reached out to them and they informed me that it had been rejected by customs and that the light is no longer in stock and that they’ll have to cancel & refund my order. I don’t get what’s going on… I’ve ordered so many lights from BG, same shipping address, I didn’t order the one with the battery… ugh. And they never reached out to let me know that the light hadn’t made it through customs.

At first I wrote back calmly but firmly with my frustrations and urged them to find a way to ship out my order. But then I noticed that you can get the MT07 from Mateminco (the origin of the MF01 Mini) on Aliexpress for $47 including free ePacket. I guess for a few bucks more I don’t care if BG cancels my order and looses out on the business. Quite frustrating! Angry

Freeme, if you have any contacts over at BG that can look at this, my order number is 78896759 EDIT: nevermind, I just went ahead and let Banggood refund my order. I ordered the MT07 instead.

The same thing happened to me for the FT03 XHP50 in green. What’s the point of having a group buy when Banggood can’t complete the order and then does not tell you, Frustrating to say the least

I was about to place an order when i seen this…soo it’s currently out of stock? There’s no mention of that on the product page.

Well, apparently “ready to ship in 17 days” means “out of stock, we may eventually get more but we’ll happily take your order” according to the Banggood CS person I chatted with. FWIW, I was going for the Gun Grey 5000K.

It was clear to me from the beginning that I would take the Xpl Hi version, it is more expensive but has more lumens.
Since many spoke of a green tint in the SST20 version, it was off the table.
There is a 5000 and a 6500k version of the Xpl Hi version. I have now decided on the 6500k, hope it is not too white or blue, the 5000k would probably be better in color but not as bright.
By chance, who of you has a direct comparison of the 5000 and 6500k.
Is the 6500 really 6500k?
Or would the 5000k have been better?
Unfortunately it is too late, 6500 already on the way!

I did suggest to them last year but manufacturer seems a bit hesitant with this approach.

No problem, hope BG CS is able settle your cancellation swiftly.

Got my light 17.1 and tested it a bit yesterday. Everything seems to work and it was so much more floodier than I thought. Turbo also gives nice wow effect. Thumbs Up
