User interface:
1.By default the MT03 is set to use the very intuitive Narsil smooth RAMPING UI. Instant access to TURBO mode is also provided.
2.A more conventional discrete level MODE-SET UI is available as an alternative. Any one of 12 predefined mode-sets can be selected.
3.MOMENTARY mode is useful for signaling purposes or rapidly/briefly lighting up targets.
You mean the material ratings. Yea, but what does that really mean for this design? Maybe takes longer to heat up, but takes even longer to dissipate it? Does the heat build up internally mean trouble for the LED's or driver? Would be interesting to know what goes on because I doubt HL did any significant testing of this new design thermally. TA didn't know bout it so he didn't test it.
I agree with TA though - this is bout the best high output flooder around, still at a reasonable cost. The efficiency of the XHP70.2's is a big factor.
