Is there any way to have two isolated sets of LED’s on one board? I would like to have adjustible color temperature, so have alternating rows of 5000k LED’s and alternating rows of 3000k LED’s, where all the 5000k can be controlled separately from the 3000k.

No by default. But you probably can do it yourself by scraping the masking and make your own wiring path.

Because of the nature of things, safety reasons and the manufacturer’s policy, LED bulbs are not intended to be opened and modified. There will be someone who does not know the basics of electrical rules and we have an electric shock and other problems

Thanks for your response. This is not about me. I personally have an agenda for another project. So, I’m not going to be the person in charge for this one. Optisolis light bulb is indeed something I have in mind since last year. But at this point I can only provide special custom designed MCPCB and Optisolis LED. Since you already have some ready to use product, swapping an LED module should be easy. Your product use 36V Citizen, right? And being a light bulb, no specific optic is required, just an unidirectional diffuser bulb is needed.
In my opinion Fneuf should be person to arrange another BLF project for BLF ultimate light bulb project. He has done some researches deeper than most of us in this topic. Just like many BLF projects before, this could be a great pilot project for another greater ideas.

Centrally embedded COB diode is located on the copper plate, but there is no problem to use other LED module (with a properly selected power supply, of course).

I'd be glad to help with my modest abilities. Like seriously I'm not the perfect technical guy for that (I consider myself way less proficient than you guys), but at least I'm motivated and I'm pushing this idea. So I can still help, coordonate, and maybe handle other aspects: like putting a toe in the water and see if we gather some feedbacks of the crowd.
But before reaching that, we need to make it serious. Which competencies do we need, what specs are we targetting, what is the public for that, etc

The possibilities are endless. First you can start with the driver. I like Inventronics, Meanwell, and Osram for their sophisticated options, control, and wide range of choices. But there’s a very good off the shelf ready to use (or assembled) with very small form factor very useful for DIY projects: Nano & Micro driver
There are 100V, 120V, and 230V variants
For IP 6x rated casings you can use thick linear extruded aluminum heatsink and glass or PMMA cover bolted (with sealant) on it.
Below are my old 2016 design for a hotel’s garden lights. The design was 2 watts each (20pcs in total), centrali dimmable, photo sensor activated. All LED modules and the internal wiring permanently potted in clear optical grade silicone to withstand UV radiation. Plastic or PMMA will yellow and degrades in less than 2 years if exposed to sunlight 12 hours a day.
I am looking for a solution to light up a pathway. Have you considered selling your garden design as a kit (heatsink, MCPCB w/LEDs & glass cover) that just needs to be assembled and wired up?

It can be trimmed down from 46,6mm diagonal to round 33mm.
