Please recommend me UV glue for tritium

I’m looking for UV glue for tritium. Something easy to use, because I’ve never had fun with this before. In this thread staticx57 recommended one glue, but it is not available in Europe. Any replacements?

This one is often recommended:

If you want Norland 61 you can get it at mixglo

I have had that bottle for 2 or 3 years and have had no problems, used it for trit in my new model
RRT-01 just a few weeks ago.
Dries clear and doesn’t harden at all until hit with UV. Its easy to work with and works great for a glue where you might need to glue something and adjust part placement until its just right, then hit it with UV and bam its glued in seconds.

Does this glue work with 365nm? The page says it harden at 220-260nm.

Loctite make a glass repair glue that works OK. Search Amazon for local supply.

“Evonik Acrifix 1R 0192” is widely available here, not that expensive either (<10€/100g).

I use this: https://www.fasttech.com/p/9657141
I cure it by exposing it directly to the midday sun.

I am using a thicker type of Kafuter ( K-3181) and despite beeing supposed to be cured with 220-260nm UV it works very well with a 365nm LG led

I use my Convoy S2 365nm with nichia and it works great.

Thanks guys. I decided on Norland 61, because I read a lot of good things about it. We’ll see what comes out.

Any chance of seeing what came out?

If you need a guy…

Uh, Sorry. For now, I only used this for one flashlight that I sold a long time ago.

that UV glue is not really all that sticky, strong, or hard

sorry

it only works in very limited applications

plus it is hard to get the UV to hidden places

wle

Which glue are you referring to?

the 3 for $12 stuff that comes in a squeeze tube with a weak UV light on top

idk the brand

it is just not sticky or strong

wle

You must be referring to Mixglo’s 3ml bottle of Norland NOA 61. I have no issues with Norland NOA 61, I’ve used it several times and cured it with a 365nm UV light.
